Tony Davies

This page will be solely concerned with Tony. It will show the panels that gained him an associateshipp of both the RPS and WPF, along with a selection of other material that might prove of interest.

To gain an associateship of the Welsh Photographic Federation one must submit a panel of 12 prints  for assessment by senior experienced judges appointed by the WPF. In this case the prints must have a theme, mine being track cycling. The hanging plan above shows the layout the assessors saw on the day.

To be accepted as a Licentiate of the Royal Photographic Society I had to submit a panel of 10 prints which are assessed as a complete work. the panel must sit together with no noticable clashes and at the same time show an understanding of the principles of photography. My initial panel of the same prints failed at my first attempt due to a few minor technical issues. I was very pleased that my re-assessed panel made the grade.
